Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles. Cristo Rey hasn't had much luck with Mingo Valley Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Mingo Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-19-1.

Cristo Rey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they will face off against Owasso Preparatory Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
