Chelsea barely beat Huron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the River Rats with a sharp  3-0 victory on Thursday. The  win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the River Rats: they've now won four in a row.
 Chelsea never let Huron on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19,  25-22.
 Sophia Stanavich paced Chelsea's offense, picking up nine kills. Stanavich got some help from  Lexi Cummer and her 28 assists.  Mia Kuboushek and  Ava Skrypec kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
Chelsea's victory bumped their record up to 15-6-1. As for Huron,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-10-1.
 Chelsea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  win against Morenci on the 20th. After both having extra time off, Huron and Saline will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
