Soccer Game Preview: Belfast vs. Mount View

The Belfast Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Mount View Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Belfast fought the good fight in their overtime match against Oceanside on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Mount View came up short against Mount Abram on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Mount View's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Belfast, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Belfast beat Mount View 4-2 in their previous meeting last Saturday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
