Basketball Recap: Kallie Marsh and Zaria Moss Secure Win for Arlington

Arlington saw some tournament action on Friday. They put the hurt on the Forsyth Central Bulldogs with a sharp 61-37 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Arlington to victory were Zaria Moss and Kallie Marsh. Moss went 9 of 12 en route to 27 points along with eight boards and three steals, while Marsh almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. That's the most points Moss has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wirt, who posted two points along with six assists and three steals.

Arlington has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Forsyth Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Arlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-44 defeat against Rickards on the 28th. As for Forsyth Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-22 loss against Lebanon on the 28th.
