Baseball Game Preview: Buchtel Griffins vs. North Vikings

The Buchtel Griffins will venture away from home to challenge the North Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Buchtel has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Buchtel is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to Ellet.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for North's offense. They came up short against Cleveland Heights on Thursday, falling 18-0.

Buchtel's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Buchtel was able to grind out a solid win over North when the teams last played back in April, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Griffins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
