Softball Game Preview: West Carroll War Eagles vs. Gleason Bulldogs

The West Carroll War Eagles will face off against the Gleason Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Carroll will be strutting in after a victory while Gleason will be coming in after a loss.

West Carroll's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 18-0 margin over Middleton. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the War Eagles considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Gleason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clarksburg. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly five runs.

Gleason's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Carroll, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
