Softball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Navasota Rattlers, falling 12-2. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rattlers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Bryan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenna Scott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Navasota, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Bryan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Copperas Cove at 7:00 p.m. on March 6. As for Navasota, they will host Groesbeck at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
