Basketball Game Preview: Poly Engineers vs. Benedictine Cadets

The Poly Engineers will be taking part in a tournament against the Benedictine Cadets at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Poly knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Benedictine likes a good challenge.

Poly took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They strolled past Forest Park with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. The Engineers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Benedictine came up short against SEED on Friday and fell 63-55. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benedictine's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Poly, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
