Northwood came into Friday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Virginia High Bearcats an 11-0 shutout on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Northwood picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Virginia High, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
