Baseball Recap: Poly Bears vs. Valley View Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arlington, Poly was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Valley View Eagles by a score of 6-1. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Danny Bedford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.
