Baseball Recap: Halstead Takes a Loss

Halstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 6-0 to the Sedgwick Cardinals. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2018.

Halstead's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sedgwick, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Halstead wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-4 defeat against Southeast of Saline on the 29th. As for Sedgwick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-10 victory against Kingman/Norwich on the 29th.
