Champaign Central's loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

The Champaign Central Maroons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their tough 61-39 loss to Manual might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Champaign Central has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Champaign Central still got an impressive performance from Aidyn Beck, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Chris Bush, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Champaign Central's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Manual, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Champaign Central will be home for the holidays to greet Decatur Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur Eisenhower will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Champaign Central is ranked 151st). As for Manual, they will head out on the road to face off against Peoria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoria will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
