Softball Recap: Lynn Camp Takes a Loss

Lynn Camp extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping their season record down to 4-11 in the process. They came up short against the Harlan County Black Bears, falling 15-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Black Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Harlan County, their win bumped their record up to 10-12. The match marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For Harlan County's part, Kendall Brock was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Brock has posted since back in March. Aviya Halcomb was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Camp will face off against Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harlan County, they will challenge Bell County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
