Volleyball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Thomas Aquinas can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the St. Charles Catholic Comets on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

St. Thomas Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for St. Charles Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15 record this season.

While St. Thomas Aquinas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
