Keegan Roberts was a one-man wrecking crew as he posted 25 points. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Garner, who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, William & Reed Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Riverside Military Academy by a score of 68-59.

The victory got Howard back to even at 1-1. As for William & Reed Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Howard beat William & Reed Academy 69-57 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Warriors' Blanton Gravel, who had 23 points.
