Baseball Recap: Oneida Baptist Institute Falls to Jackson County in First Game of Season

Oneida Baptist Institute had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 16-0 to the Jackson County Generals on Thursday. The Mountaineers have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Jackson County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Oneida Baptist Institute and Jackson County will both be playing Williamsburg the next time they take the field. Jackson County will host Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Oneida Baptist Institute will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
