Baseball Game Preview: Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers vs. Hancock Tigers

The Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Hancock Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Bishop DuBourg's last matchup with Affton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 15-0 to the Cougars. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Mehlville, falling 18-0.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bishop DuBourg, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Bishop DuBourg took their win against Hancock in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
