Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Roosevelt's offense. They came up short against the Dos Palos Broncos on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Rough Riders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Dos Palos, they pushed their record up to 10-7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Roosevelt will welcome San Joaquin Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on the 23rd. The Rough Riders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Dos Palos, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 victory against Firebaugh on the 22nd.
