Griswold had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Putnam Clippers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for Griswold, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Griswold picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Putnam, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Griswold wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Montville on the 18th. Putnam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
