Baseball Preview: Campbell County Camels vs. Nicholas County Bluejackets

Campbell County is 5-0 against Nicholas County since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Campbell County Camels will head out on the road to face off against the Nicholas County Bluejackets at 5:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Campbell County is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout on Tuesday, just like they did against Bishop Brossart (and have done all season long). Campbell County put the hurt on Bishop Brossart with a sharp 15-5 win on Monday.

Campbell County let Nate Delaney and Camden Tiemeier loose on the outfield. Delaney went 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs, while Tiemeier scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Landon McNabb, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a double.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Nicholas County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Bluegrass United on Saturday. Nicholas County came out on top against Bluegrass United by a score of 10-5.

Corbin Fryman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
