Harding falls despite strong effort from Madisen Mcfadden

The Harding Skippers suffered their biggest loss since January 4th on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 51-17 loss at the hands of Mathews. Harding has not had much luck with Mathews recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Harding lost, one person who can't be blamed is Madisen Mcfadden. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Harding's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Mathews, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.
Harding will take on Max S. Hayes at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Max S. Hayes is ranked 753rd, while Harding is ranked 769th). Mathews will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newton Falls at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th.
