Basketball Recap: Cunningham Comes Up Short

Cunningham was the 87-52 winner over Canton-Galva when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 72-45 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cunningham's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Canton-Galva, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Cunningham will take on Kiowa County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canton-Galva, they will venture away from home to face off against Wakefield on Tuesday.
