Tyler Thomas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 306 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 103 rushing yards in the third games prior.

Thomas and Oakman will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gordo at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Wildcats had to take a loss when they last met the Green Wave, but Thomas had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 262 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry.
