Baseball Game Preview: Shannon Red Raiders vs. Tishomingo County Braves

For the second straight game, Shannon will face off against Tishomingo County. Shannon will welcome Tishomingo County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Shannon's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Shannon lost 14-2 to Tishomingo County on Tuesday.

Shannon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Judon Harris, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Harris also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Tishomingo County pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Shannon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
