Volleyball Recap: CORE Butte Gets the Win + How To Watch

CORE Butte proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Los Molinos Bulldogs 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

CORE Butte was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-16, 24-26, 16-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Mara Gonzalez was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 13 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests.

Gonzalez wasn't the only good servers: CORE Butte was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matchups.

CORE Butte's record now sits at 16-6. As for Los Molinos, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-18.
