Basketball Recap: Roosevelt's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grady, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against Dewey by a score of 40-32. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 46-43 victory Dewey walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Roosevelt's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Dewey, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dewey, they will face off against Madison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dewey surely won't give up without a fight.
