Basketball Game Preview: Lawrence Lancers vs. North Andover Scarlet Knights

Lawrence and North Andover are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Lawrence Lancers are taking a road trip to challenge the North Andover Scarlet Knights at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Lawrence was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-48 to Central Catholic.

Meanwhile, North Andover lost a heartbreaker to Lowell when they met back in February, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. North Andover fell 58-45 to Lowell. The Scarlet Knights haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Andover, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Lawrence lost to North Andover on the road by a decisive 66-48 margin in their previous meeting back in February. Can Lawrence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
