Regents waltzed into their match on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes. The Lions were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Tornadoes, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

While Regents won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 27-25.

Cameron Smith paced Regents' offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Keely McReynolds and her 17 assists. McReynolds was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Despite the loss, Timberlake Christian had strong showings from Riley Moses, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Siam Conway, who had 24 assists and four aces. Conway has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

Regents' win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Timberlake Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Regents does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timberlake Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Grace Christian on the 7th.
