Baseball Game Preview: Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms vs. Center Moriches Red Devils

For the second straight game, Bayport-Blue Point will face off against Center Moriches. The Phantoms will venture away from home to take on the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bayport-Blue Point will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

While Bayport-Blue Point's win against Center Moriches wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Phantoms sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Red Devils on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Guytano Kiesel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last seven contests.

Bayport-Blue Point pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average this season. As for Center Moriches, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-4.
