Basketball Recap: Bernie Comes Up Short

Bernie suffered their biggest loss since January 19, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the Puxico Indians, falling 61-38. The matchup marked the Mules' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bernie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Puxico, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Bernie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-66 victory against East Prairie on the 30th. Puxico has also already played their next match, a 64-60 win against Dexter on the 30th.
