Basketball Recap: Boyd-Buchanan Piles Up the Points Against St. Andrews-Sewanee + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boyd-Buchanan). They blew past the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions 116-32 on Saturday. The Buccaneers have beaten the Mountain Lions the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mountain Lions has come to flipping the script.

Boyd-Buchanan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Boyd-Buchanan will head out to challenge Collegedale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Collegedale Eagle's rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they will venture away from home to square off against Berean Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions' defense better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 64.5 points per game this season.
