Softball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Comes Up Short

Groton-Dunstable lost against Algonquin Regional back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell 6-3 to the Titans.

Kierra Scully was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Groton-Dunstable's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Algonquin Regional, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groton-Dunstable will square off against Oakmont Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Algonquin Regional, they will challenge North Middlesex Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
