Kearny and Ridgewood squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Kearny had to settle for second. They fell to the Ridgewood Maroons 51-46. The Kardinals' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Ridgewood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
