Football Game Preview: Barren County vs. Taylor County

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Barren County should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on Taylor County at home at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games.

It was all tied up at the half for Barren County and Ballard Memorial last Saturday, but Barren County stepped up in the second half. Barren County came out on top in a nail-biter against Ballard Memorial, sneaking past 22-20. The success represented a nice turnaround for Barren County, who in their last game suffered a tough 7-28 loss.

Meanwhile, Taylor County put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered West Jessamine 46-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Taylor County had established a 38-0 advantage.
