Basketball Game Preview: Seeger Patriots vs. Western Boone Stars

The Seeger Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Western Boone Stars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seeger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Seeger didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bethesda Christian, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seeger.

Tyler Harris went supernova for Seeger, going 5 of 9 to rack up 15 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Seeger is undefeated when Harris posts five or more steals, but 5-9 otherwise. Jack Cole was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Western Boone had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 52-43.

Western Boone picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Seeger, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Seeger strolled past Western Boone when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 70-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seeger since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
