Basketball Recap: Norwich Takes a Loss

Norwich was the 47-35 winner over Central Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Norwich Eagles fell 40-28 to the Central Christian Cougars on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 12 points.

Norwich's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Central Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwich will square off against Cunningham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Christian, they will challenge Pretty Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
