Soccer Recap: High Point Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Central Davidson on Tuesday, High Point Central came back down to earth. The Bison came up short against the Ledford Panthers on Thursday, falling 6-1. High Point Central were not able to make up for their defeat to Ledford from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

High Point Central's goal came courtesy of Alexander Rojas Vasquez, who's now up to 12 this season.

High Point Central's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7-2. As for Ledford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

High Point Central has already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Lexington Senior on the 7th. As for Ledford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Montgomery Central on the 30th.
