Portageville waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Senath-Hornersville Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-10.

Portageville was led to victory by Lexi Priggel and Mia Scherer. Priggel had 11 assists and two aces, while Scherer had eight assists and two aces.

Portageville's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Senath-Hornersville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portageville will welcome Caruthersville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Senath-Hornersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
