Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee lost against Milton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-13.

Elise Martinez paced Chattahoochee's offense, picking up eight kills. Martinez got some help from Isabella Podesta and her seven assists. Martinez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Charlotte Laskos, each putting up two.

Shelby Matteson was a one-woman wrecking crew For Milton. as she had 18 digs and three assists.

Chattahoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-22. As for Milton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-14 record this season.

Chattahoochee will face off against East Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milton, they will square off against Dunwoody at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
