Encina had won two straight home games and Yoel Calleja did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Foresthill Wildfires with plenty of help from Calleja, who had two aces and one block. He has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last six times he's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Encina took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-11.

Encina's victory bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Foresthill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

As of now, neither Encina nor the Wildfires have any future games scheduled.
