Volleyball Recap: Moorcroft Takes a Loss

Moorcroft saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverton Wolverines. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Lani Gill and London McCrea, who picked up four kills apiece. McCrea also shared the team's lead in assists with Kearza Martinez: they picked up six each. McCrea was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Moorcroft's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Riverton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Moorcroft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wheatland on the 6th. As for Riverton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rapid City Central on the 6th.
