Football Recap: Centennial Patriots vs. Boise Brave
Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 47-30 to the Boise Brave. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 22-15 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Boise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grant Spillman, who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown. Spillman really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. Trevor Schoolfield was another key passer, throwing for 285 yards and four touchdowns.
Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Boise, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.
As of now, neither Centennial nor Boise have any future games scheduled.
