Baseball Recap: West Monona Takes a Loss

West Monona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Westwood Rebels. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

West Monona's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Westwood, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Monona will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on AHSTW at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Westwood, they will face off against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Rebels have lost five straight at home , while Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute have lost four on the road.
