The Charlotte Elite Academy Soldiers took a 39-point loss the last time they faced off against the Winston-Salem Christian Lions, but they managed to turn things around on Wednesday. Charlotte Elite Academy skirted past Winston-Salem Christian 65-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jared Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Quincy Dunn, who scored 14 points.
Charlotte Elite Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Winston-Salem Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
