Recap: Manzanola Bobcats vs. Walsh Eagles

This season hasn't been kind to the Manzanola Bobcats, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were outmatched by Walsh on the road and fell 58-16. Manzanola was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.

Despite the loss, Manzanola still got an impressive performance from Canye Trujillo, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jullian Chavez, who scored six points.

Manzanola's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.7 points per game. As for Walsh, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Manzanola will be playing at home against Kim/Branson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kim/Branson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Walsh, they will take on Wiley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
