Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Takes a Loss

West Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Sharpsville Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sharpsville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 two weeks ago.

West Middlesex's goal came courtesy of Abigail Geiwitz, which was the first she's scored this season.

West Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Sharpsville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Coincidentally, West Middlesex and Sharpsville will both be playing Mercer the next time they take the pitch. The Blue Devils will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Big Reds will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
