Baseball Recap: Hayesville Falls Short of Cherryville in the Playoffs

Hayesville and Cherryville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hayesville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ironmen by a score of 2-1.

Hayesville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Cherryville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Hayesville nor Cherryville have any future games scheduled.
