Basketball Recap: Prior Lake Christian Takes a Loss

Prior Lake Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fourth Baptist Christian Warriors. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 39-29.

Despite the loss, Prior Lake Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 boards. That was a full 45.5% of Prior Lake Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Lindgren, who put up eight points and seven rebounds.

Prior Lake Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Fourth Baptist Christian, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Prior Lake Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 97-55 victory against Rochester Area HomeSchool on the 13th. As for Fourth Baptist Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against First Baptist at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
