Basketball Recap: Omro Takes a Loss

Omro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings. The Foxes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 68-65.

Omro's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Omro is taking a road trip to challenge Kiel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Omro knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Kiel likes a good challenge. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Mary's Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Mary's Springs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Winnebago Lutheran Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
