Softball Game Recap: St. Anthony Saints vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

St. Anthony fell victim to Woodrow Wilson and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to the Woodrow Wilson Bruins, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

St. Anthony is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2. As for Woodrow Wilson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Looking ahead, St. Anthony will host St. Paul at 3:15 p.m. on March 6th. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sonora at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sonora will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Woodrow Wilson surely won't give up without a fight.
